Horton Plains National Park

This is one of the famous tourist destination in Sri Lanka. Hortain plains was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1969, and because of its biodiversity value, was elevated to a national park in 1988. Hortain plains is also called as "Maha Eliya Thanna" in sinhala language and it is the largest plain situated in central highlands in Sri Lanka. This is rich in biodiversity and with many endemic species.The World's end & Baker's fall are two major attractions you'll meet within the destination. Wild animals can be seen through the eye and it’s like catching a glimpse into the soul of nature itself.
