Galle Sri Lanka
This is situated in the southwest of Sri Lanka about 100 km south of Colombo, the city of
Galle is on the shores of the Indian Ocean. This was built by the Dutch in 1663. Galle
features a tropical rainforest climate which is around 26 °C (79 °F). Galle is served by
Sri Lanka costal line railway and connected by rail to Colombo and Matara and also road
transport is also available. Galle is a World Heritage Site as this consists of Dutch-colonial
buildings, ancient mosques and churches, grand mansions, museums etc.
