Adam's peek
Adam’s peak is a religious place of Buddhist as the footprint of the Lord Buddha is there in the top of the
rock however all the religions seem to come together here. This is 2243m tall which is located in the central
Sri Lanka.
Climbing Adam’s Peak is completely free and there’s no charge and if you prefer you can make some donations to
the temple. In order to reach Adams peak there are many ways like hiring a vehicle, by train or by taxi services.
However if you are wish to have the journey by train it is about an hour’s drive to Dalhousie. The train is from
Kandy to Hatton. There is also a direct bus every half hour to destination.
It is really very good that you bring warm clothing for the top. This hike can be heavy for people with bad knees.
